267/ The only Certainty

19th July 2025

“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others, and if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them.” Dalai Lama.

The truly helpful are invulnerable, because they are not protecting their egos and so nothing can hurt them. (ACIM, T-4.VII.8:3)

***

Lesson 267. My heart is beating in the peace of God (ACIM, W-267)Yesterday: We see our Self in everyone we meet - this was the crux of the lesson. It was a day of self v Self. The lesson would remind me of who I am and the ego kept bringing me back to the mundane; the little ‘i’ had certain responsibilities it needed to keep on top of and the real ‘I’ was just present to everything. Today: I have just read in the Text that the best way to feel love towards a brother is to give the body no purpose from the past (the purpose the past gives the body is to foster guilt). This lesson, then, reflects the eternal now in which the body just responds to a mind of presence. Its heartbeat is joining in with the love that drives it.

You can lose sight of oneness, but can not make sacrifice of its reality. Nor can you lose what you would sacrifice, nor keep the Holy Spirit from His task of showing you that it has not been lost. Hear, then, the song your brother sings to you, and let the world recede, and take the rest his witness offers on behalf of peace. But judge him not, for you will hear no song of liberation for yourself, nor see what it is given him to witness to, that you may see it and rejoice with him. (ACIM, T-26.I.6:1-4)

A Course in Miracles tells us that every instant is a chance to be reborn again, in the sense that we can know what we are.

What we are is life itself, not death; we are the song of love, not a mutter of hate; we spirit eternal, not a walled-off lump of flesh.

The contrast between truth and error is so stark that it is no wonder that we search the world for an understanding. But the reality is that it is within the timeless, meaning it is right here now.

It is only in the present moment that we can find love. Many spiritual traditions will tell us this.

A Course in Miracles merely states that it is only in the now that we can ever be with the Holy Spirit; and it is only by being fully peaceful that we can be certain of hearing the Voice for God.

268/ As Truth Returns

20th July 2025

“Light must come from within. You cannot ask the darkness to leave; you must turn on the light.” Sogyal Rinpoche.

The Atonement can only be accepted within you by releasing the inner light. (ACIM, T-2.III.1:1)

***

Lesson 268. Let all things be exactly as they are (ACIM, W-268)Yesterday: The lesson told me that my heart is beating in the peace of God - and just reading these words with a fresh mind makes me feel liberated. It was a day where a woman told me that she had been married for sixty two years and had lost her husband in April. She said she talks to him every day and I said that he knows that, and talks back. Mind never ends. It just continues and continues and continues. Today: This lesson shows us that we distort reality. Everyone has to have their own concept of what reality is because of the split mind. However, the lesson states that reality is free of pain, free of loss and wholly safe. As we see this, then we also get to see the Self that we are.

It is not difficult to understand the reasons why you do not ask the Holy Spirit to solve all problems for you. He has not greater difficulty in resolving some than others. Every problem is the same to Him, because each one is solved in just the same respect and through the same approach. The aspects that need solving do not change, whatever form the problem seems to take. (ACIM, T-26.II.1:1-4)

A Course in Miracles tells us that every problem we have always comes down to the same thing: it is that one person loses in order that the sufferer should gain.

This all arises out of fear. However, if we truly believe that there is no order of difficulty in problems, then the fear dissipates and what fear is not can take its place.

The Holy Spirit is therefore the part of the mind that is logical, sensible and entirely trustworthy. We turn to that and not the part of the mind that sees the difficulty everywhere.

The part of the mind that is not trustworthy is the ego. It is split off from what is absolute truth and is therefore made up. The ego is non-truth and has to be seen as such.

Forgiveness merely undoes our misbelief about reality. As truth is restored back into the mind, it becomes clear that there is no order of difficulty in anything. No one can lose and everyone gains.

269/ Enlightened Mind

21st July 2025

“It is our mind, and that alone, that chains us or sets us free.” Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

You who have spent days, hours and even years in chaining your brothers to your ego in an attempt to support it and uphold its weakness, do not perceive the Source of strength. (ACIM, T-15.II.3:5)

***

Lesson 269. My sight goes forth to look upon Christ’s face (ACIM, W-269). Yesterday: The lesson asked me to let all things be exactly as they are. This was a good reminder to just to be. If I was walking, I would try and feel my footsteps on the ground and look at things with more awareness. However, it wouldn’t be long before my thoughts just took over and I would return to being forgetful for another hour. Today: I had the oddest feeling when I awoke this morning - that everyone is ‘life’ and that, if I think about one person in particular, or meet them personally, or even look at myself in the mirror, it is always with the backdrop of ‘death’. I will monitor my thoughts today with this in mind.

Complexity is not of God. How could it be, when all He knows is one? He knows of one creation, one reality, one truth and but one Son. Nothing conflicts with oneness. How, then, could there be complexity in Him? What is there to decide? For it is conflict that makes choice possible. The truth is simple; it is one, without an opposite. And how could strife enter in its simple presence, and bring complexity where oneness is? (ACIM, T-26.III.1:1-9)

A Course in Miracles tells us that truth makes no decisions because there is nothing to be decided between.

Only the mind decides. Therefore, as we heal the mind, we decide upon the world we want to see.

In fact, the world is the confusion. Within the metaphysics of A Course in Miracles, the world is merely a projection of the mind.

Forgiveness changes the reel on the projector, meaning our perception of the world changes too.

We start to perceive a world of love instead of fear, joy instead of misery and peace instead of pain.

Truth then reveals itself to the mind. Light replaces darkness and the mind becomes en-lightened.

270/ Pure undiluted Love

22nd July 2025

“Nothing goes right on the outside when nothing is going right on the inside.” Matthieu Ricard.

Denial of Self results in illusions, while correction of the error brings release from it. (ACIM, T-1.VII.1:6) )

***

Lesson 270. I will not use the body’s eyes today (ACIM, W-270). Yesterday: Even now, as I think about yesterday and read through the lesson to remind myself about it, I still find it hard to understand. The lesson asked us to see the face of Christ in everyone we meet and mentioned “the illusion which transcends all those I made”. I feel that this is the real world, where duality still exists. To know the real world, the mind has to be awakened and this is the goal of any student of ACIM. Today: When the lesson tells me that I’m not to use the body’s eyes today, it means that I should see things without reference to the past. The past is where all my triggers come from. By sinking into the now, I can begin to hear that silent Voice.

No one forgives unless he has believed in sin, and still believes that he has much to be forgiven. Forgiveness thus becomes the means by which he learns he has done nothing to forgive. Forgiveness always rests upon the one who offers it, until he sees himself as needing it no more. And thus is he returned to his real function of creating, which his forgiveness offers him again. (ACIM, T-26.IV.1:5-8)

We (the mind) make our own pain; sin (the error) simply reflects the mind’s refusal to love; and forgiveness (the process) is how we release the cause.

A Course in Miracles tells us that all suffering stems from one single thought. It arose in opposition to love and its unreality has to be recognised because, quite simply, nothing can oppose that love.

The mind, then, has made up one illusion and this has magnified into billions of further illusions.

The body (an example of the illusion) claims to be autonomous but it is not. It is a part of the dream.

And all the while we are looking for an answer to the riddle of life. We find it when the mind is still.

What we really are is pure, undiluted love. There is no opposite to this and, underneath all the hysteria and endless searching, the mind absolutely knows that this is the truth.

271/ What’s not Gone

23rd July 2025

“Never trust a dog to watch your food.” Saint Patrick.

The children of God are entitled to the perfect comfort that comes from perfect trust. (ACIM, T-2.III.5:1)

***

Lesson 271. Christ’s is the vision I will use today (ACIM, W-271). Yesterday: The lesson asked us not to use the body’s eyes throughout the day. In the morning, I was cutting down bamboo and so eyesight was essential. Then I had a tai chi class and, later in the afternoon, we went for a walk. And while everything revolved around the body, I was also becoming aware that I am not the body. What I am is the awareness that is witnessing the body. Today: A gardening client hasn’t responded to any of my enquiries about work. I felt irritated when I woke up this morning - all sorts of judgemental thoughts were running through my mind. Christ’s vision - the subject of the lesson - ensures I see only peace. Nothing matters because everything is perfect.

God gave His Teacher to replace the one you made, not to conflict with it. And what He would replace has been replaced. Time lasted but an instant in your mind, with no effect upon eternity. And so is all time past, and everything exactly as it was before the way to nothingness was made. The tiny tick of time in which the first mistake was made, and all of them within that one mistake, held also the Correction for that one, and all of them that came within the first. (ACIM, T-26.V.3:1-5)

A Course in Miracles tells us that each day, every minute of the day, and every instant of the minute, we are reliving the single moment where the time of terror took the place of love.

This means the mind is reliving it constantly - at least until we step out of time and realise that there is only life. Only the forgiveness of an unreal past can allow the reality of the present to happen.

We are living in a state of fear. The mechanics of it might not be immediately apparent but fear is always the driving force behind everything we do.

The practice of the Workbook at least begins the process of knowing we have a choice. It soon becomes clear that love can be our motivation too.

The Holy Spirit is the Teacher Who inspires that love. In fact, as we get more and more into the lessons, we find that we are that love. What we really are has never gone away.

272/ Living a Lie

24th July 2025

“Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.” Jim Morrison.

Your mind can be possessed by illusions, but spirit is eternally free. (ACIM, T-1.IV.2:8)

***

Lesson 272. How can illusions satisfy God’s Son? (ACIM, W-272). Yesterday: The lesson asked us to use Christ’s vision as we went about the day. In the evening, the weather was gorgeous and so we went for a late walk and had a picnic on the moor. A seagull was loitering in the car park balancing on one leg, the other one limp. I placed some scraps of food not far away and it flew to get it. Christ’s vision could only see perfection but the ego was unhappy. Today: The point of this lesson is to decide between Heaven and hell - a choice we are making every moment of the day. Really, though, there is no choice because what we are is love.

Anything in this world that you believe is good and valuable and worth striving for can hurt you, and will do so. Not because it has the power to hurt, but just because you have denied it is but an illusion, and made it real. And it is real to you. It is not nothing. (ACIM, T-26.VI.1:1-4)

A Course in Miracles is about knowing what we are, which is pure love. Really, we haven’t come from anywhere and we don’t return to anything. We are the Kingdom of Heaven.

Little do we know the power we have. We are not bodies, we are infinitely greater than that.

It is the mind that needs our full attention. It literally takes us downwards into suffering or upwards into the light. The mind is endlessly creative and all we have to do is to harness that potential.

We can think like a lunatic or we can act like a god. Really, it is all about asking ourselves whether we are content with dreams. And no one would ever want to believe that they are living a lie.

Christian Sundberg’s pre-birth memories have made him an advocate for spreading the message that we are all part of the Light. We are expressions of Love that are held in darkness. God is our reality and we are dreaming of separation. Our only purpose is to heal the mind and gently wake up.

273/ Leap of Faith

25th July 2025

“The fundamental delusion of humanity is to suppose that I am here and you are out there.” Hakuun Yasutani.

When you have been restored to the recognition of your original state, you naturally become part of the Atonement yourself. (ACIM, T-1.III.1:5)

***

Lesson 273. The stillness of the peace of God is mine (ACIM, W-273). Yesterday: The lesson stated that it is impossible for illusions to satisfy God’s Son. Every time I looked at the lesson, it became a gentle reminder that I am spirit and not some random lump of flesh placed on the planet. It was a day in which I could realise this but also be practical at the same time - I still had to chop wood and carry water. Today: This lesson is straightforward in that it shows us we have the chance to be happy or we can continue to suffer. I expect that, as I practise the lesson throughout the day, it will be a constant reminder that the choice is always mine.

It is impossible that one illusion be less amenable to truth than are the rest. But it is possible that some are given greater value, and less willingly offered to truth for healing and for help. No illusion has any truth in it. Yet it appears some are more true than others, although this clearly makes no sense at all. All that a hierarchy of illusions can show is preference, not reality. (ACIM, T-26.VII.6:1-5)

A Course in Miracles tells us there is no order of difficultly in miracles; there is no order of difficulty in illusions; there is no order of difficulty in anything because it is impossible. There is only truth.

We are looking at a non-dual teaching in which God is the Father and we are the Son. The Son exists within the Mind of God and simply is, making our isness the Kingdom of Heaven.

As a body, we can read this and dispute it - and we should. Nothing should be taken for granted. However, we need to look at the mind that does the disputing and this is where the work begins.

Facing our fears is not pleasant and can be terrifying - the ego can turn from being supportive to vicious in an instant. Looking inwards therefore requires a certain amount of bravery. We need to implicitly know that what we are doing is going to result in a peaceful mind.

There might be no order of difficulty in anything but we do need a leap of faith. We have to trust that the Holy Spirit is real and authentic. After all, it’s an invisible force that is waking us up.

274/ What Didn’t Happen

26th July 2025

“The only thing we really have to work at in this life is how to manifest love.” George Harrison.

Love knows no bodies, and reaches to everything created like itself. (ACIM, T-18.VIII.8:1)

***

Lesson 274. Today belongs to love. Let me not fear (ACIM, W-274). Yesterday: The lesson - knowing that “the stillness and the peace of God are mine” - was affirming and encouraging. However, when I did need it most (around 12.30pm and a time where I was feeling hot and bothered), the memory of the lesson wouldn’t return to a churning mind. Access to it was only via the screen shot on my phone which wasn’t to hand, and so it feels ironic that the memory of God became reliant on technology. Today: I have just been reading in the Text about how we are not the dreamer, but the dream. It puts into context the absolute schism between love and fear. Everything is made up in the mind - it is the mind that dreams. Fearful dreams merely mirror a fearful world and so this lesson is of huge importance.

Sins are beliefs that you impose between your brother and yourself. They limit you to time and place, and give a little space to you, another little space to him. This separating off is symbolised, in your perception, by a body which is clearly separate and a thing apart. Yet what this symbol represents is but your wish to be apart and separate. (ACIM, T-26.VII.8:7-10)

A Course in Miracles tells us that forgiveness is the only way for peace to replace the feeling of being lonely and apart. It aligns us to the ideal of Heaven and also to the Will of God.

Forgiveness removes the obstacles to love’s presence, and this could be as simple as wiping condensation off a pane of glass. Love is always with us but it is simply being obscured.

It is the mind that creates the veil to love and so it is the Holy Spirit that wipes it away.

We need to finish the Workbook. We are training the mind to be practical as well as theoretical.

The Text can only provide the foundation for our knowing. However, each lesson in the Workbook is the underpinning that we need to enhance the strength of that foundation.

And then, as we add forgiveness, we find that nothing ever happened and that peace is always here.

275/ Changing the Cause

27th July 2025

“To get what you love, you must first be present with what you hate.” Al-Ghazali.

If you attack whom God would heal and hate the one He loves, then you and your Creator have a different will. (ACIM, T-22.I.1:2)

***

Lesson 275. God’s healing Voice protects all things today (ACIM, W-275). Yesterday: The lesson told me that the day belonged to love, not fear, and I also remember reading that we are not the dreamer but the dream. And so, within this dream, my neighbour appeared to say that they were moving to a new house and asked if I could witness a signature sometime later in the day. This triggered anxiety - I hate that moment of being watched - but I actually didn’t see him for the rest of the day and fully realise that, as a dream, fear is always going to play a part. Today: To hear God’s healing Voice is the purpose of this lesson. I have just been reading how the Holy Spirit works with the memory of what is now, as opposed to what is past, and so being present is my only purpose throughout today.

Cause and effect are one, not separate. God wills you learn what always has been true: that He created you as part of Him, and this must still be true because ideas leave not their source. Such is creation’s law; that each idea the mind conceives but adds to its abundance, never takes away. This is as true of what is idly wished as what is truly willed, because the mind can wish to be deceived, but cannot make it be what it is not. (ACIM, T-26.VII.13:1-4)

A Course in Miracles tells us that the miracle is only possible when cause and consequence are brought together, not kept apart.

The healed mind knows peace as its cause. There can be no other cause unless the mind is split. The split mind has arisen out of fear and the miracle is needed to dampen the flames of that fear.

The miracle is just a change of perception - it is a choice of love over doubt. As doubt dissipates, we are enabled to perceive life as it is and not how we would wish it to be.

All the dross is then removed from the lens of our perception, and what remains is constant peace.

And, if this sounds too dramatic, what we see is the real world instead of the false. And the real world is the consequence of changing the false cause that is our fear.

276/ Beginning and Ending

28th July 2025

“Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.” Rumi.

There are no beginnings and no endings in God, Whose universe is Himself. (ACIM, T-11.I.2:3)

***

Lesson 276. The Word of God is given me to speak (ACIM, W-276). Yesterday: And so the neighbour did appear, ringing the doorbell in the late afternoon and, because I had been thinking about it all day, my heart began beating. However, it was all very pleasant and I managed to witness the signature, then get my signature and the address on the page. The lesson asked us to hear the Voice for God throughout the day; for me, it was drowned out by anxiety (which is familiar) and yet I still placed my trust in that Voice and everything was fine. Today: Last night, I had two dreams which (on reflection) show the impossibility of the ego. The first was abstract - someone had become ether and had disappeared through a little vortex in the water; the second was about the destruction of a small chapel and this was caused by a crane throwing a large container from a barge on the river. Both were unthinkable and yet the destruction of our real Self is just as unthinkable.

There is a distance you would keep apart from your brother, and this space you perceive as time because you still believe you are external to him. This makes trust impossible. And you cannot believe that trust would settle every problem now. Thus do you think it safer to remain a little careful and a little watchful of interests perceived as separate. (ACIM, T-26.VIII.2:1-4)

A Course in Miracles tells us that salvation is immediate. It tells that, unless we perceive it as such, we will be afraid of it - and we are - terribly.

The source of fear is obscured by the error, and it is this that needs eradicating.

A Course in Miracles also tells us that both time and the body are neutral. Everything happens now, because it is in this moment that the body and time do not exist. In the now, there is only presence and only love.

Love is the Source of everything. A Course in Miracles reminds us that, if we only knew this, we would rush back to the Beginning without a moment’s thought.

The Beginning is the ending and it is the Beginning that created us whole and complete. Salvation therefore becomes a present moment awakening in which we rediscover all that we have never lost.

277/ Normal Life

29th July 2025

“Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are our own fears.” Rudyard Kipling.

Beneath your fear to look within because of sin is yet another fear, and one which makes the ego tremble. (ACIM, T-21.IV.2:8)

***

Lesson 277. Let me not bind Your Son with laws I made (ACIM, W-277). Yesterday: The lesson reminded me that the Word of God is mine to speak. Essentially, it is a statement that we all have the qualities of God because God created us like Himself. I am not sure how much time I spent with the lesson - I was busy working until the early afternoon and then had to travel for a couple of hours to spend some time looking after my mother - but I did practise for the two extended periods in the morning and the evening. And I would always try of be aware of what needs forgiveness. Today: This lesson essentially shows me that all minds are free - this means that everyone is one mind without distortion and without division. My thoughts do tell me otherwise, but why on earth would I listen to my thoughts when they are quite clearly insane?

The holiest of all the spots on earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present love. And They come quickly to the living temple, where a home for Them has been set up. There is no place in Heaven holier. And They have come to dwell within the temple offered Them, to be Their resting place as well as yours. (ACIM, T-26.IX.6:1-4)

Them” and “They” and “Their” are the face of Christ and the memory of God; “holiest” and “holier” are adjectives that describe our innocence and wonder; the “temple” is any relationship of perfect harmony; and “Heaven” is a state of oneness in which we know that we are Christ and that God is the Creator.

Everything is perfect and yet we are looking at it imperfectly. Our fear is being projected onto a blank screen and this is where the movie of our lives occur.

We watch the movie with gasps of amazement and horror, all emotions intertwined with each other to make it a spectacle of epic proportions.

But when the movie is over, we return back to reality and we also return back to our normal Life.

And normality is where Christ sits happily within the Mind of God and all minds are simply One.

278/ Utterly in Love

30th July 2025

“Being with you and not being with you is the only way I have to measure time.” Jorge Luis Borges.

And the extent to which you learn to accept me is the measure of the time in which the holy instant will be yours. (ACIM, T-15.IV.5:2)

***

Lesson 278. If I am bound, my Father is not free (ACIM, W-278). Yesterday: The lesson essentially told me that I am bound by my beliefs, and that these beliefs are all self-made. My beliefs were like the hedge that I had cut down in the morning with my mother’s gardener, full of thicket and thorns but, ultimately, nothing at all when it is no longer there. We are the spaciousness that arises as our thoughts disappear. Today: This lesson puts the burden of responsibility right back onto us. We either imprison ourselves and God, or we don’t - what is One is One. As I sat with this a few moments ago, I had to keep re-reading the lesson just to keep on track.

Beware of the temptation to perceive yourself unfairly treated. In this view, you seek to find an innocence that is not Theirs but yours alone, and at the cost of someone else’s guilt. Can innocence be purchased by the giving of your guilt to someone else? And is it innocence that your attack on him attempts to get? (ACIM, T-26.X.4:1-4)

A Course in Miracles tells us that every attack thought we have acts like a veil against the memory of God and the face of Christ. This is without exception.

And this is what forgiveness is. It is the undoing of the veil so that we become what we are - the holy Son of God, complete and healed and whole.

It also means that we shouldn’t beat ourselves up when we are not at our best. This is the grist we work with; and this is what we offer to the Holy Spirit so that it can be seen in a different way.

It is therefore very helpful to know about cause and effect - one is always reliant on the other.

Without the cause, there can be no effect; likewise, there can be no effect without a cause.

And so, as we learn to make the Holy Spirit the Cause of all our actions, the Effect of God returns to our awareness. Instead of attacking love, our goal is to be utterly in love with Love Itself.

279/ One Unified Whole

31st July 2025

“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of it to anyone else.” Charles Dickens.

Forgiveness is the great need of this world, but this is because it is a world of illusions. (ACIM, W-46.1:3)

***

Lesson 279. Creation’s freedom promises my own (ACIM, W-279). Yesterday: The lesson told me that truth is free, and what is bound is not part of truth. There were chores to be done - hedge trimmings to be taken away and grass to be cut - and even though this is what binds me to the world, it was done with a sense of minor satisfaction, the body feeling tired but rewarded. Today: It sounds like a good idea - to have freedom instead of imprisonment. It really is a simple choice. However, as I was sitting, I could feel my thoughts disputing it.

Correction must be left to One Who knows correction and forgiveness are the same. With half a mind this is not understood. Leave, then, correction to the mind that is united, functioning as one because it is not split in purpose, and conceives a single function as its only one. (ACIM, T-27.II.16:1-3)

Correction undoes the error and forgiveness does nothing. An illusion simply disappears.

A Course in Miracles therefore returns the mind to wholeness. It tells us that a solution is only required when the mind is split. This means we are lonely and feeling apart from God.

And the near-death experience merely highlights the complete impossibility that a split could ever be possible. It is impossible for separation to exist within the Mind of God.

What is whole cannot be divided and mind cannot be split into different parts. Forgiveness allows all divisions to disappear fully, and what once needed correction is not present but past.

The video below is a second interview with Lynn K. Russell. She talks about the spiritual implications of the near-death experience and our total inclusion in oneness. She says it is impossible to be apart from God, except in a dream. We are asleep to the light and just have to wake up from the darkness.

280/ Inner Surrender

1st August 2025

“Change is never painful. Only the resistance to change is painful.” Buddha.

Your Father created you wholly without sin, wholly without pain and wholly without suffering of any kind. (ACIM, T-10.V.9:9)

***

Lesson 280. What limits can I lay upon God’s Son (ACIM, W-280). Yesterday: The metaphor of being chained up and in prison is again used to describe ‘life’ in the body. The lesson told me that creation is freedom, and this is what I bore in mind as I returned ‘home’ last night after staying with my mother, and then fell ‘asleep’ with a fitful sense of release. Today: The limits we have about God’s Son (the theme of the lesson) can only arise from thought... and what limits they are! As I was practising, World War III was going off in mind just as the timer went off to finish. Where did that come from? And it was clearly a huge limitation on my real Self.

You do not know the peace of power that opposes nothing. Yet no other kind can be at all. Give welcome to the power beyond forgiveness, and beyond the world of symbols and of limitations. He would merely be, and so He merely is. (ACIM, T-27.III.7:6-9)

A Course in Miracles tells us that all power comes from God. Weakened power is a contradiction of ideas and really does not mean anything.

Any form of weakness implies that we do not know our true Self. It is a limitation. If we think we are weak, then we have forgotten how powerful we are.

Therefore, the split mind will always show us varying degrees of this weakened power. When we look with the ego, we instantly judge; it arises out of thought. When we look with the Holy Spirit, power is just known; it is way beyond thought.

It is forgiveness that takes away our confusion. True forgiveness enables the mind to be still and quiet and simply be, which is an impossibility for the ego.

Therefore, how we cope with our own internal surrender is really how we cope with life.

Inner surrender means nothing happens by chance. It allows life to arise from a mind at peace.
